The Andromeda Puzzle reimagines the traditional six-piece burr puzzle in a way that will feel both familiar and entirely alien. Its six identical components interlock to form a structure that defies easy classification. It’s not a sphere. It’s not a polyhedron. The Andromeda resides somewhere in the space between — and beyond — these familiar forms.

As you move it in your hand, subtle spirals and shifting symmetries reveal themselves. Even sitting still, its anodized black aluminum finish conspires with its near-fractal appearance to suggest movement. As you discover its multiple axes of symmetry, perhaps a solution may present itself — or become even scarcer than before.

Forged from heat-treated aluminum — a high-precision process used in modern smartphone components — the Andromeda evokes the hidden geometries of nature, recalling patterns that echo life on both cellular and cosmic scales. The resulting object is a unique mechanical puzzle that’s dense, deliberate, and satisfyingly difficult.
